Jacquelyn Villaseñor, MA, LMHCA

Queer. Latina. Bilingual(Spanish-speaking). Welcoming LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.

Are you looking for a mental health service where all the different parts of you are explored? Though traditional talk therapy can be helpful, oftentimes a more broad approach will allow you to heal from past traumas and current life stressors, to be able to enjoy life again.

Treatment is never one size fits all, I believe in a broad, client-centered therapeutic approach. I mostly work from a person centered stance and incorporate CBT, DBT, trauma-focused (including childhood trauma, generational trauma, etc.), and mindfulness to obtain optimal wellness and healing. My style in session is warm, nonjudgmental, safe, and collaborative.

I have completed a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I emphasized on taking classes to improved my knowledge and experience within the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community. I’ve been building my experience for more than 3 years working in Community Mental Health increasing my knowledge in working with mental health disorders as: anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder and more.

As a queer Latinx/bi-lingual therapist, it is important for all of my clients to feel seen and heard.
